How dear of you to use your site to unfold the love and respect you hold for our countrymen protecting us throughout the world and the majority of Americans I am sure have fallen on bended knee to pray for those in harms way and their loved ones and to give thanksgiving to God for supplying our country with so many heroes.cmp

I totally agree.  We need to think about the men who have died for us this coming week.  Here is a touching clip to help us do that:  http://members.aol.com/mazie20/memorial.wmv

Great salute to the deserving! Hubby served for twenty years in the Navy and I am proud of him.

My little brother is in the Navy right now. I worry about him.  Thank you for posting this.  As  a Quaker, I have mixed feelings about the Military, since I am a pacifist, but I never forget that our country would not be free without some of the wars we fight in. I do not believe this is a just war.  I want our soldiers home NOW. To be honest, the last war I think we belonged in was WWII.  That does not mean I don't support the actual soldiers--I do--but I am very upset with the administration that puts our young people in harms way.

I did! Great reminder for us all. I watched that Nick and Jessica tour of duty just to see all the soldiers over there. I couldn't help it, I had tears!

I grinned at your comment that you left on my journal about all our pets.  I bet you will have a house full, too!  My girls would love to be around all the exotic animals you have!
